SALES AGREEMENT

Print Contract

We want your purchase experience with us to be a positive one. We would like to see our cows/calves go to their forever home and will be as transparent as possible. Please ask any and all questions you may have pertaining to your prospective purchase. We encourage you to visit our info pages about introducing new cattle to your farm and our biosecurity page to help transition your new bovine to their new home.

About your new purchase:

1.) Most of our cattle for sale will be posted on our sales page. While we generally sell babies we do occasionally sell young adult cows, or mature cows. If we are selling a cow or heifer as “exposed” it does not guarantee a pregnancy, it just means they have been running with a bull. Having an “exposed” heifer or cow preg checked would be the responsibility of the buyer.

2.) Our babies are weaned between 4 and 5 months of age depending on their level of dependency on their mothers. All are handled on a regular basis and will be haltered and tied and beginning on a lead rope. Training to lead will be the responsibility of the buyer if they choose to have them lead. We do not bottle raise calves, our calves are raised by their dam in a herd atmosphere.

3.) Your new cow/heifer/steer/bull is guaranteed to be in good physical health when it leaves our farm, this guarantee does not cover any unforeseen or future health issues. They will be dewormed and babies will have their first vaccine, mfg may vary (that generally means the first vaccine in a series of 2).

4.) Once we release them into the care of the buyers transporter or buyer we transfer the responsibility of their health and well being to the person taking physical possession of the cow/calf at the time of pickup. We have no control over their well being once they leave our possession, for either injuries or illness they may acquire on their journey to their new home. All vet fees and health fees associated with the said cattle is the sole responsibility of the buyer once it has left our possession.

The fine print:

A 20% (up to $500) non refundable deposit is needed to hold your purchase until pickup. Pickup is required within 30 days of purchase or the agreed upon pickup schedule set at the time of purchase. Calves will be held till weaning. Transportation is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Cattle not picked up by the agreed upon date will remain the property of Rockin’ G Ranch and all payments will be forfeited.

Payments and deposits are accepted in the form of Paypal (credit cards), cash, check and money orders. Final payment must be made 14 days prior to the cow/calf leaving our farm so all payments have the time to clear, unless paid by cash.

There are no other guarantees either expressed or implied other than what is stated here. All cattle is sold as is where is and all sales are final. If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to ask.
